Pain in America
No one should ever have to live with chronic pain……
Fifty million Americans suffer from chronic pain each year. Taking this a step further, it’s estimated that 1.5 billion people around the world experience chronic pain. Of the 50 million Americans that suffer from chronic pain, 20 million are veterans of our armed forces.
This statistic alone is mind-boggling to me and I am sure that most of the American public does not know this. People that live with chronic pain are also twice as likely to commit suicide than people that do not suffer from chronic pain.
