Dr Luis Missura

Dr. Luis Missura brings over a decade of expertise in dentistry, with a specialized focus in endodontics since 2016. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Dr. Missura served for nine years, attaining the rank of Major before transitioning to private practice in 2019. During his military career, he completed advanced training and conducted research in regenerative endodontics.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, and raised in Southwest Florida, Dr. Missura is fluent in Spanish and holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. His extensive postgraduate education includes an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Fort Campbell, KY, and an Endodontics residency at Fort Gordon, GA, where he earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology. In addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Post-Graduate Endodontics Program, Dr. Missura has lectured on various endodontic topics, sharing his expertise with peers and advancing the field of endodontics.

Now based in the greater Kansas City area, Dr. Missura is deeply rooted in the community alongside his wife, a fellow healthcare professional, and their three energetic sons. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, archery, mountain biking, spending time outdoors, and playing music, while avidly supporting the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.

Dr. Missura is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and partnering with referring providers to ensure optimal outcomes. As the leader of Precision Endodontics, he is dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge technology, including Erchonia Laser, Zeiss microscopes, Cone Beam CT, and advanced irrigation systems, to provide the highest standard of endodontic treatment.
